Hoppy Easter!
If you’re like me, then you love holidays like Easter, full of happy colors, no ones stressing about finding the perfect gift, or trying to figure out how you’re supposed to squeeze in all of your dinner guest (and their plus ones). Find out how to create this super fun bunny wreath!
Also if you’re like me then you have taken too much advantage of the fact that Easter came late this year. follow this super easy DIY Bunny door wreath to kick off your holiday decorations, and get you in a Hoppy Easter mood!

Materials Needed:
- Styrofoam Floral Wreath – 2 sizes Small and Medium
- white Fuzzy craft boas – I needed 8 for this one
- Pink tulle
- Hot Glue gun
- 2 Zip ties (to hold the rings together)

Step 1:
Last year when I made this wreath I just a simple bunny ear headband, which can be found at almost any store this time of year, this may be the better option. Just stretch it out over the ring and use LOADS of hot glue to keep it in place.
When I was browsing the halls of my local Hobby Lobby I came across this super cute bunny wreath kit, including ears and cute little feet. I thought this would help eliminate a step but, was I to make it again I would go for a headband instead. It’s just easier but, both worked fine.
Just position your ears on the top of your wreath and secure with hot glue.

Step 2:
Put a little dab of hot glue in the center behind your ears on the back side, this is to secure the start of your boa to begin wrapping. The boas I typically like to use come with a little extra yarn loop on the end which is PERFECT to use to hang your wreath from!
Step 3:
Begin wrapping your boa semi tightly around your wreath. (I had to wrap mine a little tighter and keep my coils a little tighter together, thus causing me to have to use extra boas. because I had to use a green ring instead of white. they were out!)

When you run out of boa either use the strings at the end of your boas and tie them together and continue wrapping, OR hot glue the end down and the beginning of the new boa and continue that way.
Step 4:
Set your completed and exceptionally cute bunny head aside, and begin to glue on your feet (if you have them) do this the same way as you did with the ears. Remember I bought my ears and feet as a wreath set, which came with “helpful” wires to uses to attach them to the wreath. They turned out to be useless, nevertheless, heaps of hot glue always does the trick!

Step 5:
Begin wrapping your bottom circle with the boa the same way as you did with your first one. Everything to this point is pretty much repetitive. Simple is good, right!

Step 6:
Now that you have two completed bunny pieces, let’s connect them! Line up your bunny head with your bunny feet, this is very important to make sure the ears and feet are aligned as once you zip tie the two together you won’t be able to move the pieces around.
Once you have them positioned the way you like, move a little piece of the boas apart so you can see your ring on both the bottom of the top, and the top of the bottom.
Take your zip ties, I had to use 2 to keep it in place, and simply connect the two rings together.
Cut the extra tie off and cover back up with your boa. WOO HOO!! Just like that you have your super fun wreath.
Decorate:
This is optional – take a piece of jumbo ribbon or tulle and just wrap it around the middle of the two rings and tie a super cute over-sized bow, to add a festive touch!
I’d love to see your wreaths! Drop a picture into the comments or feel free to share another cute idea.
